I would like to hook this unit up by tapping into the existing wire harness of my Pioneer 6600 deck. Do I hook up all four speaker wires and the yellow mute wire. Will it work with my door speakers?

Just hook right front speaker the mute wire will shut down the audio system when you receive a phone call.

I spliced into my wiring and hooked everything up and it works like a champ. I did not hook up the mute wire either.
