| Hooking up reverse polarity door locks/remote start to an OLD 1989 Tauras. (64000 original miles). Diagram said to add the relays and hook this up in the passenger kick panel. Found/cut the wires, added relays. All the doors lock/unlock except the passenger door. Works fine with the door switch...won't work with the key fob. I'm not a rookie at this so I can't put a handle on this. Hooked into the wires as they come out of the door. Can you steer me in the right direction? |

Maybe inside the passenger door at the switch?
You may have picked up the wiring after the passenger door motor wires have split off.
Directechs says either kickwell so that's no help. ___________________________________ Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first.

| There's only like 8 wires coming out of the door...these are the only 2 that show power when the door lock switch is pushed. Not a huge deal but would like to at least know why... These wires are like #14 or bigger. Could they be a different type and not rev polarity? Surely not....??? |

DEI has it as 5 wire, pink/yellow and pink/green but it may be neg if originally keyless entry. ___________________________________ Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first.
