I have a 89 GT that I have to push the fule pump reset switch located in the trunk. I have to push this button every time I want to drive the car. Great security system but I am getting tired of doing that. So what happens is, I drive the car get to were I am going, turn the car off. When I come back out to start it I have to push the button. The button does not seem like it is resetting but It starts right up.

Any ideas?

replace the fuel pump inertia switch (reset switch) or someone is playing games with you by hitting the rear of the car hard at the spot where the switch is located.
