Hey guys,
Been looking around for some information on monoblock amplifiers. I just bought a 600 Watt Kenwood class d monoblock amp. Here's a link to it: kenwood.ca/Car_Entertainment/Amplifiers/KAC-6104D
I have 2 12" subwoofers enclosed in a potted box. I have no idea what they're rated but I believe they're 300 watt rms. They're both wired seperately through the box.
After taking em out of the box and testing them I know that they're single coil with 4 ohm impedence.
The amp has 2 subwoofer outputs

I'm having trouble on figuring out how to wire it. I should use one input on the amp and wire my subs down to 2 ohm impedence for max power. I already have the diagram bookmarked for wiring it to 2 ohm. http://a248.e.akamai.net/pix.crutchfield.com/ca/learningcenter/car/subwoofer_wiring/2SVC_4-ohm_mono.jpg
Is this all right?
Thanks in advance,

The amp may have two sets of output terminals but it only has one output. The amp is 2-ohms stable. Wire the speakers in parallel. Set your gain properly. ___________________________________ Support the12volt.com |

Thanks man. Appreciate the help ;) think its time to up the woofers. What watt rating should I be looking for if I want two 12"s running off my amp?
Thanks,
