1994 Geo Metro Alarm Information
"Door trigger" -I would use this for the sensor wire to make the alarm go off when the doors are open, correct?
"Parking lights" -I would use this to make the lights flash when the alarm goes off, correct?
"Trunk release" -I would use this to make the alarm go off when the trunk is opened, right?
If I'm right about the above, could I splice into both the "Parking lights" wire and the "Trunk release" wire for the same signal sensing wire on the alarm? ___________________________________ 5 driver, 3 way active setup w/ time delay on each driver.

Yes, yes and no.
the trunk release to used to "open" the trunk. this is assuming you have electronic trunk on the vehicle. if you dont you will not need this wire ___________________________________ Ted

Sorry, that was for a Metro. I'm working on a Prizm.
What about the "Trunk Pin"? Is this what I'm looking for to have the alarm go off if the trunk is opened?
If so, can I splice this in with the "Door Trigger" into the same signal sensing wire? ___________________________________ 5 driver, 3 way active setup w/ time delay on each driver.

Also, for the "Door Trigger", the diagram says to use "Fuse Panel 2 Pin Connector". What exactly does this mean? Neither of the fuse panels (under hood and l/f kick panel) have anything marked as such.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. This is my first real alarm install and it needs to be done ASAP. Someone 2 houses down is planning of ripping me off. I've seen him, in his car, in both the road behind my house and out front just sitting there. As soon as I walk outside & stare him down, he pulls off. I know what he's up to. I have already removed the sub from my car and cleaned my gun LoL I might remove my sub amp tonight.
I've been paranoid like a crackhead the past few nights... It's not a cool feeling... ___________________________________ 5 driver, 3 way active setup w/ time delay on each driver.

trunk pin is what you need to have the alarm go off when the trunk is opened. yes you can tie into the door trigger if your unit doesnt have a trunk pin input. make sure you diode isolate.
at the fuse panel, look for a connector that is 2 pinned, or contains 2 wires. one of the 2 wires are for doors. use a multimeter to test. ___________________________________ Ted

What kind of diode would I need, and how would I wire it?
Could you explain the 2 pin connector again? I don't even know where to start...
Sorry for all the seemingly rhetorical questions, I just want to get this knocked out correctly the first time.
I've got more money into stereo equipment in the car than it's worth LoL ___________________________________ 5 driver, 3 way active setup w/ time delay on each driver.
