These posts are DIFMs I've decided.
Info available (free) on Bulldog alarms, or here, Vehicle Wiring section.

Here are three "How To Install" videos from Directed Electronics.  They are geared for their Ready Remote product line but are general for all brands / models.  The Viper product line is designed for their professional authorized dealers.

Think you are a wee bit  taller and speak the Kings' English.        Good basic info, though.

How would you like a workshop like that?
Practice, it looked like he placed a plastic under tray on the floor...nono, it should have gone on a bench or if Toyota, a cloth covered bench.
Hood pin, should be placed at the highest point for drainage and sprayed over with a moisture retarder. I'd have used a fully insulated crimp connection and a ratchet crimper, plus 10mm or 3/8" shrink again to stop corrosion.
That stripper tool is awful, I use two ideal types.
I also use 10.5V and 18 V Bosch lithiums for separate screw driving and drilling.
Why not bolt to an existing grounding bolt, got to be better than screwing in, screws will always eventually work loose.
