I have a Hornet 564T installed on a 2006 Toyota Solara and today my alarm is not accepting any signals from my remotes. I cannot disarm, arm, put into valet mode (neither the remote or valet switch work). The car has trouble starting the engine (because of the alarm's Starter Interrupter) and when I unplugged the brain, the car would start with no problem, but I cannot put the car into gear without pressing the shift lock and none of my gauges work (tach, speedometer, gas, engine temp, clock, radio, climate control, turn signals, etc)
Can anyone help me with this please? Thanks! |

did you install the system?
check fuses and did you test your wires? ___________________________________ Ted

I think Ted meant car AND R/S fuses.
There's an ignition circuit fail in there, the shift release and gauges.
With the starter cut it will either start or not, it certainly wouldn't be intermittent as you seem to have described it. ___________________________________ Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first.
Read the installation manual, do a search here for your vehicle wiring. |

| Check if there is another relay for second starter, if there is disconnect the relay. solara always needs two relays for starter. |

Doubt it, seems more like ignition to me. ___________________________________ Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first.

| Thanks for the tips guys. I was worried that this was going to be a complex issue but when I took a look at it, the problem was only a blown fuse. My main fuse for all interior accessories was busted (and also a blow radio fuse). Thank god it was just a cheap scare. haha. |
