Here my question... How exactly are the shock sensors calibrated for Auto-page alarm systems? and what is the best way to insure they are working properly?
I have installed a few Auto-page alarm systems and never really figured out how to calibrate them properly. When I am installing them I try to make sure they are adhered to a part of the car/trucks body. Then try and turn the pot within the shock sensor to insure it is sensitive enough. But the problem I run into is that sometimes I can tap the car/truck and it will go off. But other times I can shake the truck and it will do nothing. I would like some tips on what fellow installers do to insure they are correctly installed and calibrated. I mainly use Auto-page RS-665 and RS-730LCD units. They both have external shock sensors.
Any help out be a huge help!
Thanks,
