| Hello all. I need help with installing subwoofer and amp to my 03 Durango. I would like to kep the OEM stereo so I need to know the color wiring code for the OEM stereo and if the Durango has the remote possibility for turning on the amp. I did some kind of research and I can't find the color code for remote activation which normally is blue. If there is no remote coding is there an alternate solution that I can get the amp to start with the stereo. Thank you... |

Here is your info on that vehicle. It does not have a factory amp turn on so you can use the ignition wire at the radio harness.
Radio 12v pink + radio harness
Radio Grnd black - radio harness
Radio Ign red/white + radio harness
Radio Illum white + radio harness
Factory Amp Turn-on NA
LF Speaker +/- lt. grn/pur - lt. grn/grn +,- radio harness
RF Speaker +/- lt. blu/pur - lt. blu/blk +,- radio harness
LR Speaker +/- white/red - white/black +,- radio harness
RR Speaker +/- tan/purple - tan/black +,- radio harness

| Awesome. That will help me vrey much. Thank you. I apprecite your reply. Just to double check there are 2 black wires in there. Does that mean 2 grounds? |
