So i have a regular cab tacoma, ive had a few systems in it never really professionally done, or ever sounding right at all. Ive had 2 12's that hit 139 with 1000s rms in a sealed box. then i went to two tens ported that was tuned way too low and sounded horrible, anyways, long story short. i have 2000w RMS to work with now. I want to do one ten or twelve ported. maybe sealed if i cant figure out this ported box...
my question. im going to build one large box behind the seat, sub on the passenger side, how should i orient the port? round one shooting toward the drivers door? or a longer rectangle one shooting up between the back window and seat, if you follow...
sorry for the long post.
im thinking DD, Memphis, IMage Dynamics, MMats, or RE Audio.
Tips and advice will be greatly appreciated im only working with like 2cuft MAX, so if this is just too small to go ported let me know also.
i want the doodie to lovein pound.
another note is 6.5 mounting depth max also. maybe 7.
thanks in advance.
