Can you hear the Radio?  Did you look into purchasing the 20 dollar wiring harness for your vehicle?  Is there a small square plug with a metal housing?  Did you already cut that off?  If not DO NOT CUT THAT ONE.

Hi again,Thanks for the reply... As i've said there is already power, tried the radio and cd and was working, but i cannot hear a sound.... nope i don't think i will be needing any hrness...Yup there's a small square plug with a metal that surrounds it... I have here a photo... What i did was i attach the plug for the new one into the old one... REason is i need to try to make it work first before i make the connections permanent.... Please see image... Thanks again...

First picture is The old(top) and new(bottom) radio, as you can see, the one under already has power ....

Second pictures are the cables and plug ins of the old one. Question: Does anyone know what the black with green stripes is for? the blue one i think is for the amp or antenna...

The third picture, i added the plug-in of the new one, attatched it to the old one....

The Square plug with a metal around i think is for the connection of the speaker cables... i have tried connecting that and did not get any sound, My question is do i need to connect that metal thing around the plug? Because i think, that is the ground or -(negative) of the speaker cables. If so, where am i going to connect it? Thanks....

The square plug is the input wires of the factory amplifier.  There is also a factory amp turn on wire that needs to be powereid in order to turn the amp on.

I do not know the part number for the adapter you need, and the Metra website has been down for a few days.  Go to your local stereo shop  and tell them what year your vehicle is and tell them that it does have a factory amplifier.  Or carry your factory radio into the store, they should know what you need by looking at the back of your radio.

the blue wire on the end of the gray ford plug is the remote turn on for factory amp and the BLACK/ green is the gound.  the wire you have your alpine ground connected to is the dimmer ground.

Good looking out Das, the radio is coming on and all is well until you turn your headlights on.  You will blow the fuse for the taillights or the dashlights.
