How can I drop an ohm on a 8 ohm speaker to a 4 ohm?

If i had a amp that only can push 4ohms or 2 ohms is there a way that I can use a 8ohm sub (2 Diamond 12d4 on a rockford fosgate power 1050s amp)

you can use a accumatch, they will drop the impedance but i have found a small loss of peak spl when useing them, but for people just looking for thier product to work i dont mind using them her and there...they are manufactured by varitias audio.   if interested i do have a few here laying in the shop
