good 2way remote start/alarm

I need help to find a good 2way remote starter/alarm system which is not draining battery... I just removed 2 compustar system from my 2 car they are both drained my battery out if i don't drive for couple days Many Thanks

what make/year of cars?what kind of bypass modules?who did the installs?how fast did the batteries drain?

A correctly installed alarm and or R/S CAN'T drain your battery. A drop test with a DMM before and after removing either alarm would have lead you to the problem. As the other poster said make and model of vehicle? I'm also wondering how old the battery is.

P.S. At the moment Compustar is probably the best product out there.

Spot on young Tommy, OP look at my Security and Convenience Forum sticky on just that, hence my bad wiring comment. 86 on that relay goes to Ign 1 (live on crank) and NOWHERE else.

1- 09 honda crv 2- 08 acura tsx use Compustar cm6000 brain Idatalink ADS-AL CA both car had installed by myself and help of my friend who work as an auto mechanic and he did install many other system most 1way like crimestopper(I also have 5 of these installed on my family cars and never have any battery drained issue). He did tried couple of thing but none solve the issue both car had new battery replace by Honda/acura dealer if we have car park for 2-3 days especially during cold weather batteries will drained I really love compustar product but this issue just make me crazyyyyyyyyy I could be wrong in wiring but we(me and my friend)checked every wire it look exactly as it showed in diagram your help is greatly appreciated

Read my sticky post in the car security hot topics section, "immobiliser/starter cuts and battery drain". TEST How do you know you don't have a faulty door, trunk hood trigger switch somewhere? Does the battery drain if you pull the alarm fuses? I've been in this business over 40 years and I've NEVER found a faulty alarm to be the cause.

yes when i remove the fuse(alarm system) the car staying full charge all the time...weirz but true i can start a car after 1 and half week left in cold weather....

Replace each Compustar fuse, 1 at a time and meter the draw. You're going to hate me but you've done something wrong on install, something needing an ignition feed has been given a constant. Are you testing draw currents? I don't think so your answers are too pat.
