I installed a Python 991 remote start alarm on my 2008 Honda Civic Si a few months back. I never integrated it with the factory alarm and am now interested in doing so. My question is do I simply tap into the OEM Arm and Disarm wires on the vehicle with the OEM Disarm and OEM arm wires from the Python 991? Or do I need relays in order to make this work?

Thanks.

That sounds correct to me. I am familiar with the civic but not the alarm you speak of. If I remember correctly the factory alarm control wires on that car are behind the fuse block above the drivers kick panel in the harness coming from the drivers doorl. They are VERY tiny wires. I suggest being very cautious with a razor knife or you may try the old trick of holding a lighter on the wire for a split seconds then rubbing in a twisting motion with your thumb and pointer finger to break or crumble the insulation off of the wire. There are only a few strands of wire so BE CAREFUL! python 991 integration with factory alarm -- posted image.
To master and control electricity is perfection. *evil laugh*

Do I just connect the 991 wires to the OEM Disarm/Arm wires? I assume no relays are needed. Correct?
