wiring diagram - Ford fiesta 2000 model

Hi, can anyone help with a wiring diagram for a ford fiesta 2000 model.

im particularly interested how to wire up the central locking and windows roll up

 Hi, can you possibly also help wth the remote starting?

Im installing a Clifford Intellistart4 module to the fiesta. (G5 Avantguard system)

I've studied the wiring diagram & notes on the remote starting thoroughly, but Im still unsure about  the following:

the wiring involved (safety ) in preventing  the car from starting if it were in gear.

Clutch bypass wiring ? what does this do?

how to connect a universal "factory alarm bypass module" to the intellistart.

any help appreciated

you shouldn't really mess with the clifford if you dont know what you are doing, but if you are feeling brave good luck !!!

The intellistart doesnt need wiring to stop it starting in gear. If you car is maual you need to "prime" the car before getting out.

Basically with the car running, you need to push the button on the remote for prime. Take keys out, the car keeps running. Getout of car, arm system and the engine stops.

To start vehicle with alarm armed, press start button on remote.

I have no idea what you mean by the clutch bypass, sorry.

The intellistart as several differnet wires that can be used to arm/disarm factory modules, although i wouldnt imagine you need to on a fiesta. If its a newish fiesta, with the redspot on the key you will need an imobilisr by pass module, or just tape the key to the barrel.

You dont need to worry about clutch bypass.

That is for amercan cars only, where you need to depress the clutch before the car will start, and we dont have that over here !!!

I 'd only attempt any such a project if I thoroughly understood the work involved. I was quite confident on this one until you mentioned the sequence I'd have to follow before remote starting the car each time.

Im gonna give the remote start a miss, cant risk the thought that every time i want to start the car remotely, I'd have to prime the system first. The consequenses could be disasterous if i forgot, cos I often leave my car in gear.

The prime sequence is simple. You just push a buton on the remote, and then get out. For the car to remote start, it needs to be in neutral, obviously.

For remote start to work, the car needs to be running when you arm the alarm. If you can get out of the car, with the engine running and then close the door, with it in gear, you are a better man than me !!!!!!

Serioulsy though, remote start is fantasic outside a pub, sunny day, people walking past your car, it starts on its own, well cool.

And in the winter, look outside, press button, car starts, rear window defrosts, heater comes on. walk out 15 mins later, car nice and toasty.

I have been fitting clifford alarms for about 7 years, and the remote start is the thing that sells most clifords.
