Im using the dei 530t for the front windows. The driver side is hooked up and works fine, but as soon as I hook up the passenger side it screws up. Both windows roll down, but one will stop on the way up. It almost seems if it doesnt have enough juice to push both....but its just on power up that there is a problem. Power is ran straight to the battery, the ground is good, seperate wires have been ran to the passenger door. I have even tried to power the passenger door with its own 530t, but same problem. As soon as i disconnect one side, the other will work fine. This is actually a 2003 isuzu ascender, same as the gmc envoy, with one touch swictches for all windows. I appreciate any insight you could give.

you've tried all the resistor settings? have you tried the resistor mod?

it will allow you to modify the module to allow for a higher resistance before it stops, it fixed a similar problem I was having with an 01 denali.

that resistor mod diagram sounds like that should fix it. the customer is coming back on wednesday...so ill try it then. thanks

I haven't done window modules in that car.....actually, I should say I haven't done window modules at all, but I'm familiar with how they work.

My biggest question is this: Do the factory window-motor wires rest at ground when you're not touching the switch?

I know that on most of the newer GM products, the doorlock motor wires have NO rest state------when you press the lock button, the BCM or door module grounds one wire, and puts positive to the other.

Since that's what they've been doing with their doorlocks, it wouldn't at all surprise me if the windows are the same.
