I just got done installing the alarm in my Cherokee. For some reason (not everytime) when I perform the Valet-TakeOver, it cranks until I shut it down by brake etc.
I press the * button twice, and sometimes it will go back into remote start like it should, other times it just cranks! Anyone have any experience with this?

It is a 96. Yeah I thought that too at first, but when I did the tach learning it was good, led came on steady like it should. Shouldn't the alarm know that it is running from the ignition wires? I know it senses the tach, but it should know that it is already running and not crank right?

Where'd you pick up the tach signal?  Is it a regular cherokee or grand cherokee?
