Do the new Compustar Pro units have the capabilty to switch from manual to automatic mode, or do they come in manual OR automatic versions. If they do, is it a dip switch setting, or is the green loop back again? Reason I ask is because in the past the regular units had the green loop you could cut to change the mode. Compustar took that away last year (at least on the US models they did). The occasional eBay listing I see for the Pro units always list them as doing both AUTO and MANUAL units.

The canadian models are indeed switchable between automatic and manual trannies. Those are the ones you are seiing on ebay. They also have double the range. I am not  sure how you switch between the modes though

Is the brain of the ProSeries CM4000?
If so, there is a loop to cut for manual/automatic
Install Manual for CM4000
Cant really comfirm if the brain is set to automatic or manual, like the previous compustar brain have been (for US models), or if you cut the loop it will be automatic like it should be.
Dont got the new unit to test yet.

We are doing the compustar pro line. They have the green loop inside of the brain, if its clipped your go for an automatic..
