amp pop could i use a relay

When i turn the car on there is that popping noise could a relay solve this problem?

Probably not. The amp is turning on by recieving 12v+ at the remote wire regarless of thru a relay or not.

There are delay units out there that are very cheap if you do not wish to make one yourself using an RC circuit. A delay should help...but not always.

Let us know the vehicle and type of audio equipment as well..sometimes it is an inherant problem and we may know a definate cure, if possible.

Yes a relay will work.

85 switched 12v
86 ground
87 remote turn on
30 to the amp
