I installed a hatch release into a doge caravan 2003 but the release only works with key inserted into the lock cylinder. Anyone have any suggestions. Thank you

Did you wire the hatch to a constant power source or just an IGN power ? If you used an IGN then you have to change it to a constant for it to work without the key in the cylinder.

I connected it to a constant 12v. I meant the had to be put into the hatch lock cylinder not the ign.
