Hi

I have a 2006 impala and i'm trying to put a new radio in. Now i know that i need to use the GMOS-LAN-01 GM data bus interface for the onstar and door chimes but these days finding the money is kind of hard and i don't use onstar. A friend of mind gave me an alternitive wire harness made for my car but the only thing is that i need to find an 12 Volt accessory  in the fuse box to tap cause my impala turns on the radio  via the GM-LAN data lines. Soon as i get the bread for the harness, i'll hurry and get it but for now, can anyone please help me with this. I have no sound now and i'm going insane without my bass aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you have a meter...I dont remember what fuse to use...You will need a test light or meter to find the DEAD side of the fuse anyway(otherwise the fuse will offer no protection)...So if you are doing your own installs...Buy a meter...After that it will be simple to find...I use to just grab it at the ignition harness(which was right behind the radio...Is the 06 the same...can't remember)
