I am trying to add an amp and subwoofers to my factory radio in a 2001 ford taurus. i know how to connect everything except the rem wire. where do i connect it onto the factory radio or radio control unit in the trunk? please help a.s.a.p.

Splice into Switched 12v+  Yellow/Black wire.
(1) Kenwood Excelon Head Unit KDC-X589 (24 bit Burr Brown DAC, 3 X 4 volt RCA).
(1) RF Punch 250A2 - running the components.
(1) Hifonics 6.5" Atlas Components (18db crossovers).

GroundBLACK/ light green
Power AntennaRED / pink
Remote Turn On(output)BROWN / orangePin 8 of CD changer. Also light GREEN/ black between rear control unit (C388B-2) and front panel (pin 4).

Information listed in the harness section refers (in this case) to the rear control unit in left side of the luggage compartment
