Hello All,

I have a quick inquiry regarding my 1995 Honda Civic Rear defogger. While installing my new interior i managed to break one of the contacts for the rear defogger(Not the actual piece but the contact that keeps the connector to the window). Now i tried to put an aluminum adhesive that "conducts electricity" to try and to stick it back on, It sticks on but does not work to the full affect. I see the lines going across but vaguely. I tried to solder it, but it would not bond.. IF anyone knows of any solution , or maybe another approach.. or something i am doing wrong? it would be greatly appreciated

Thank you

I would put a brick thru the back window and have it replaced...turn it in to your insurance company. BUT SERIOUSLY.

There is NO way to fix it, where it will work properly and forever. talk to a glass shop. They will tell you the same sad news.

I worked for a window tinter for years....I have broken my share of those little tabs off...it sucks

There are repair kits available to fix the problem. I think Canadian tire sells them. The key to succes is prepping the contact area correctly so the special paste adhesive works correctly.
