Hi all.

I've been scouring the net for weeks trying to solve my dilemma.  I recently bought a 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T, to which I have not been able to get many answers to my radio questions.  I know it's a Mitsubishi Eclipse, but members of the 3G Eclipse and 2G Stratus forums haven't been very helpful.  I'm hoping someone here can help.

The sound in my 2001 R/T is non-existant.  I've tried two different factory headunits, a tape player w/ cd changer controls, and a 4 disc in-dash unit, and no sound, fizzle, or pop at all.  I at first thought it was the amp, which I removed, disassembled and cleaned.  There didn't appear to be any water damage or contact, and when I ran a test light off each speaker wire coming out of the amp, it should low levels of voltage going to each speaker.

The only thing I can think of now, is that the factory harness plugs have been switched around.  I found the proper wiring of each grey and black plug (that plug into the back of the headunit) for a 2000 dodge, and they seemed similar enough, and that would mean that my plugs were miswired.  So I rewired them by number, and my headunit ceased to power up after that.  Any ideas?  Does anyone know how I can find the proper plug wiring diagram so I can properly wire the terminals?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

sorry for the double post.  I think my trigger finger was a little over anxious, and the server thought I had spammed, and I thought it didn't post my original post.  I'm going back to being quiet now.
