does anyone know where the wire is for the dome light??? the fuse is okay but i check the socket and there is no power going to the light.. im figuring the wire is cut somewhere under the dash or i will run a new power line...

You might want to test for continuity, see if you have a break in the wire.

The domelight wiring should be going from the fuse box up the driver's side A-pillar. Just to make sure, your bulb is good right? You may also want to check to make sure that there are no loose plugs at the fuse box.

i will take off the a-pillar and give the wire some power.. see if that lights up the dome.. yeah the bulb is good.. no 12 v running.. i will check the continuality and also fuse box.. thanks guys...

One more thing, have you recently installed an alarm with domelight supervision hooked up? I only ask because I have seen toyota's fuse boxes blow from hooking up dl supervision wrong.

yah i was trying to hook up the alarm but i couldn't find the dome light wire.. the previous owner did hook up a cheap alarm, i think he screwed something up... man i hate bad installs....
