First of all great site.  Lots of useful information.

Now...  First off, I am realtivly new to Car Audio.  I have recently purchased a 05 Chevy Colorado and I am looking for some advice/input on some speaker/amp/subwoofer combos.

It is a crew cab truck with next to none space in the rear of the truck for subs.  I can fit 2 amps (one on each side) behind the rear seats with about 3" of space.  Under the rear seat I have about .5 cft worth of space.  Around 4 1/2" for mounting space.  I am also considering raising the rear seat another 1/2" to 1".

The Front doors have space for 6 1/2" component and 1" tweeter.  The rear doors have 6 1/2" holes.

I dont compete, doesnt have to knock my fillings out of my teeth just nice SQ with solid and smooth bass.  I listen to a varity of music, pop, r&b, classic rock etc. I also like matching items, brands etc.  What can I get the best bass for my buck?

What front seprates and rear coax can you guys recomend moderate price around $300 for both combined.  Also what amp would be best matched?  aournd $250.

For the rear subs.  I can only fit a single 10 unless there are some that can use .25cft each.  then I can use 2.  I will even consider 8's.  Looking for around $150 a sub and a solid amp for the aourn 250 as well.

Any information will be great.  Sorry for the long post.  Thanks

blaupunkt overdrive 10 is about 3.5 inches deep and needs about .5 cubic feet. they are designed to fit in tight applications (like yours).
