posted a week ago about my amp blowing fuses... i was able to figure out that the transistors in one channel went bad... i've got the amp working again but have a question...

I'm looking for an overall crisp and clear sounding system, i don't like annoying amounts of bass, but i do like to feel a thump here and there.  I had the amp hooked up to a 10" sub, but the car (eagle talon) has 6x9 rears... would it be better to run the amp on the 6x9s?  they are infinity reference 3ways... it is a 2ch alpine t220.  any opinions?

a couple 8" would be nice, im guessing you have the newer 95-99 talon. i had a 91 that had 6 3/4 rears. im not totally sure of the layout but if it is a hatchback like mine, i had two cheap 12" that pounded like no other for the price i paid for them. after i sold them i put two 8" subs in there just for a little more umph to the lower end. i believe tc sounds has a deal going on for thier lower end subs. they are really great subs for the price and sound superb (tcsounds is the oem maker of eclipse, although i think this ended. no more titanium subwoofers =,(
