I'm following the wiring locations/colors from this link
https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~1223
I can't get a few things to work properly with a Performance Teknique 2 way cal alarm with remote start.
1. The park lights don't flash when I unlock or lock the doors.
2. I'm not sure how to connect the dome light. The manual says "Come Light Output:This output is only intended to drive a relay. It can not be connected directly to the dome light circuit as the output can not support the current draw".
3. In regards to the "starter wire" the link above says both wires must be powered to start. What I did was connect the "starter ouput" wire on the remote start harness to both of the start wires listed above. Is that correct?
4.There is a "blue wire" that allowed a two stage door lock operation where if you press unlock once, only the driver door opens and if you press twice all the doors open. The manual doesn't say where to connect this wire.
Other than that, I have the system up and running. WOOT! not bad for a first time installer.

meter the parking light coming from the module. is there +12V when you arm/disarm?

dome light is a RED / white wire in the drivers kick panel. splice this to the 87 terminal of a regular 5 prong 30A relay.

connect terminal 30 to ground.

connect terminal 85 to a 3A fuse and then to +12V

connect terminal 86 to dome light lead from alarm module

leave terminal 87a unconnected.

this will work, but should not be done. you should use two relays to isolate the two wires. i've seen service engine soon lights illuminate because of wiring like this.

depends: does you vehicle have a factory alarm?
