I have a 1970 Checker Aerobus with 8 doors (yes 8). I want to add an after market electric door kit. The kits are set up either two door or foor door. The four door has two actuators that have five wires for front doors and two actuators with two wires for the rear. I want to be able to have the last bench seat open all the doors from that location so gues I must use the five wire actuators there because they are wired so they will open all four doors in a four door installation. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or know how these actuators (5 wire) are wired? Also does anyone know how the control modual is wired. Can't find any wiring diagrams on them or the actuators. Thanks.

The four door kits have 2 x 2wire motors and 2 x 5 wire. The 5 wire motors' extra three wires are two work an integral microswitch which throws the rlay coil contacts thus unlocking the other doors, normal practice is to only connect the 5 wires (5 wires are also called masters, 2 wires slaves) in the driver's door. you would need a 4 door kit, plus a 2 door kit, the price difference between 2 and 5 wire motors is minimal. I wouldn't suggest a 4 door kit with 2 extra slave motors because of the extra load on the control unit, the first suggestion has two controllers, wire in parallel, or with two fuses, you could even have a cut out or master switch cutting power to the side and rear door motors as a security measure.
