Couldnt get any help on caraudio.com. Anyone here wanna give a little advice?

Just installed a viper 5701 and everything works fine except when I arm the alarm or pertty much do anything with the alarm I get the long chirp and 5 flashes claiming ignition trigger fault. What in the hell is this and how do I get rid of it? I dont have access to an updated bit writer and dont ant to take it to a shop to have that done.

This is for a 2001 silverado 2500HD whick is kindof a mutt truck as far as wiring. I am lost. It gets pretty annoying to hear all the extra chirps and screaches when they arent needed.
