I am installing a viper 5901 in a 2010 ford edge. I was going to use the fuel injector wire for the tach does anyone know what wire to use?

I have the info from this site and one from wire color one says use the blue and the other says use the green.

Each injector will have 2 wires. One colour is common to all the injectors, the other wire is a different colour for each injector.

Use any of the different colour wires.

And TEST set DMM to 20VAC. With the engine running, black probe to ground, red to wire, you should get 3-6 VAC.

Thanks for the tach info and if you dont mind me asking you one more thing?

On the ford edge what would you use for the door triggers and domelight suppervision one diagram I have from color wire says

use all four door triggers (-) and use diode's they show cutting and using like 8 diodes or the diagram here on this site says use the (+) dome light door for the door triggers if thats the case can you use the domelight suppervision wire on ether one of the ways I mentioned?

use the + dome light, you may have to program door error chirp to off

Purple at the puddle lamp to the purple of your 5901.

The other info you have is out of date you would also have to programme your door triggers to NC or use 4 x DTIMazda units.

Ok then use that same wire for domelight suppervision to turn on the dome lights when unlocking.
