Well after getting my bypass module to work finally a wire inside broke and isn't fixable so what is the best bypass module that's plug and play that won't require 2 step programming or firmware programming since my local shops refuse to do I it for me and I don't have the equipment to do it myself. I need something that is as simple as possible and will work with my 2007(07-13) silverado z71 ltz which I believe is a premium wiring setup

I'm using a dlpk gm but I was told it's a pretty old unit and there's better out there so since I broke this bypass I have to buy another and rather than buy another dlpk gm I'd rather get something that makes it as easy as possible

Most of the newer bypass modules require you to flash them with the correct firmware for your specific application. That would require an extra USB flash cable. Some even require the 2 step install / programming using DCryptor.
If you want easy and reliable, try to get a FLCAN bypass module that the seller will flash with the GM10 firmware. You could go D2D with your Viper R/S unit that would save some wiring. Programming is only one step and very straight forward. The FLCAN is basically an iDatalink ADS AL-CA bypass module that usually gets the DEI DBI firmware flashed on it. I believe there are some online merchants that will provide the firmware flash service.
The DLPK is a decent module, basically a Fortin CAN-SL2. They can be found for a lot less than an FLCAN.

Also have you ever seen where the door locks act like they're actuating twice real fast? The parking lights do the same thing but only on the unlock command

While they both perform the same functions, they accomplish it in slightly different ways. The main difference is the way the GM3 firmware handles the PK3 transponder bypass portion of the trucks PK3+ immobilizer system. With the GM3 version, you must also purchase and use the RNG-GM3 ring.

Okay cool I just bought a flcan on eBay and the seller offers free programming so I'm having him flash it to gm10. I'll probably end up sending you a message for a few little odd and end things once I get it. Thanks so much for your help, you're a life saver
