I have a 791vx. Occasionally, when I arm my car, the remote will beep to tell me it was armed, and a few seconds later, it beeps again and flashes "Sensor 1" in the display. Everything seems to be fine. What does this mean?
A few days ago, I remote started my car to let it warm up. I'm in a dorm parking lot with about 300 other cars. I got a set of confirmation beeps for my car, then 2 more sets of beeps after. Is it possible my remote started 2 other cars in the lot that have DEI alarms? Why else would I get the extra beeps? Thanks

I'm currently having the same problem too but the alarm doesn't trigger right?
What I would think is that somehow there's a sensor that trigger each other when the first time it was on..
I'm trying to add diode to separate those sensors together again this weekend...

what type of vehicle?   you'll often get door open beeps after you arm it if you are using a data type module to hold back the door trigger sensor.....

It's not a door open beep, it's a sensor beep.

Sensor 1 is the shock sensor. It is still picking up the vibrations of the car from slamming the door closed. Nothing to worry about, it will still work as it is supposed to. If you don't want it to happen, wait a couple seconds after closing the door before you arm it.
