Need some help or maybe coffee. :)   I installed a keyless entry system a year ago using two 4-contact SPST relays to reverse the polarity for the door actuator.  For the life of me I can't remember how I did it, but I remember jumpering a few things on the relays.  Now, I'm clueless how I did it....and I'm doubting if it really -was- two 4-contact SPST relays I used afterall.   BTW, the system I'm trying to put in now is a Rattler 100.....basic no-frills keyless entry system.  Am I incorrect or can a reverse-polarity circuit be setup with two SPST relays? Thanks.

4 contact?  No

5?                Yes

#86 and #87 on both relays  -  12+ fused

#87a on both relays                -  (-) chassis ground

#85 on both relays                   -  lock/unlock (-) from alarm door lock output

#30 on both relays                   -  one relay to one actuator wire....one relay to the other actuator wire

I would rip apart the dash underside to see how I did it, but I made it really nice and secure and tucked way up back so that's not an option.  I'm pretty sure I used two SPST .......BUT ANYWAY,  I will pick up two 5 contact relays tomorrow and use them. Thanks for the reply.
