O.K. First off I am dyslexic. If I make any bad spelling and or grammar mistakes I would like to apologize now. I tried to read through all the rules so I will do the best I can. Thanks in advance...
I have a Jensen VM9022 I wanted to pair with a backup camera and an iPod, I am not technically inclined. I paid a shop to do the work but they could not complete the job as needed. The shop attempted to wire the backup camera and DVD into the reverse light and parking break respectively. However the DVD never recognizes the car is in park (blue screen) and the reverse camera never comes on when the car is in reverse!
I know the shop had access to the 2002 Santa Fe wiring information but the couldn't make it work. They wanted to bypass this mess with a physical switch. I declined to do some research on my own. I can Bypass the DVD problem in software but I feel this information is important because it shows whatever 2002 info they had did not apply to my 2002.5 model.
I can only assume that because the 2002 wiring information did not work I will need the 2003 or anything that might be specifics to the 2002.5
I searched the forums and the DB and I see a lot of info on the 2002 but not 2003 - 2006. Can any one help? thanks.

OK so it looks like no one has any ideas on this. how about this. can i pass it through the reverse light? just run a wire all the way back to the reverse lights?
