Hey all;

Im in need of some help with my 2003 door locks, i am installing a car alarm in my vehicle and it states that the door locks are NEGATIVE TRIGGER and i don't know how to hook them up with relays, can someone help me out and tell me how to install the locks??? I really appreciate it very much.

It really depends on what unit your installing. Some alarms have onboard relays some dont. Some may put out a neg pulse others may put out a pos. You should check your instructions for these things. Post back more info if you still need help

The installation book states that relays have to be added for these power locks it doesnt support negative or positive locks, any way you can tell me how to hook up the locks? Any information will help me out a lot...

What unit are you installing? And if it doesn't support the 2 most common types of locks, which ones does it support? Is the lock/unlock output a positive or a negative? I'll be glad to post the relay diagram once I know what type of output the module has. Good luck,
