Suppossedly on this vehicle, 1984 Mercedes 500 SEC there is a reset switch under the master cylinder.  This does not have it.  That is from the Chilton's manual #6089.  The brakes are fine, bled them again just to be sure.  Disconnected negative battery cable.  Stll this light stays on.  It has me and the owner baffled and he really doesn't want to take it to a Mercedes dealer.  Thanks

Not sure if this applies to an 84 500 SEC, but have a peek at this or even ask your question in this forum.
