Hi guys, I just found this site and hope I can find some info here.

Maybe I can help someone also. I`ve been a Electrician for 35 years, that likes to tinker with old cars.

I`m in south Arkansas for those who might want to know!

Now My Question ?  Where might I find a complete wiring Diag. for the 88 Trans am?  TIA

Hi oletimer, here's what we have for an '88 Trans Am 1988-89 Pontiac Firebird Information. If you're looking something other than this, just let us know.

Thanks, for the info. I had allready seen this on the site . What I`m looking for is a one line that shows the whole wiring for the car. including all the inputs and outputs for the ECU. I may have to go thru a dealership to find one?

Try your local library first. Most have Chilton Manuals and the like available to check out or will even request it from another library for you.

Thanks!! I had thought about the chilton manual, but not the library.

The reason I`m looking for a complete diag. is I`m transplanting the trans am eng. and tranny into a 1941 chevy pickup so I`ll need some guidence along the way.

Also some one has allready done some "butchering" on the wiring in the car.

Think I`ll take the ole man to bed. See ya`ll tomorrow.

You're welcome. If you're lucky, someone may have donated the GM service manual to them. I'm often amazed by some of the resources my local library has available.
