I need a suggestion for a keyless entry. Someone here sold me a nice Viper setup a few years ago, and now I've got another car I want to hook up. I can wire about anything but the multiple relays have me perplexed (the seller here pre-wired it all, which really saved alot of time).

Any ideas?

What does multiple relays mean?  Unlock and lock?  If you can't work your head round that pay to have it installed.

Never said I couldn't Howie - it was simply easier the way the seller had it.

I'm not asking about specifics, just suggestions.

Wasn't the wrong forum...more like the wrong site.

Not all vehicles have the same door lock types or even require relays. The specific vehicle you intend to install this unit into would need to be known to wire the relays correctly, if any are needed. As far as keyless entry suggestions go, are you looking for specific models or just brand names?

Let's start again Swede, repost this on the security section stating your vehicle make, model and year and what you want to do, the facetious answer was because there are two types of lock outputs used by all alarm manufacturers on different models, single wire low current with two wires or relay driven six wire. there are at least 8 vehicle manufacturer lock types I can think of, hence the comments. Just look at the relay section here (Locks) to see what we are trying to tell you.
