Hi folks, newcomer here and a newbie in electronics (but not a complete one).
I need a low-power, low-speed opto-isolator that can be triggered by a 3.3 V MCU, and can reliably switch the car's power grid on the output side. I'm sure you know what I mean by that - the voltage spikes and all those good things. So I'm wary about slapping just any cheap isolator into my automotive device. It's a good practice to use protected, automotive-grade components in a car, but I can't find such an opto-isolator. Can you point me to one? I only need 20 mA output, no more - just to drive an intelligent switch.
