I have several cigarette lighter socket powered items like most people do, I am looking for an alternative to the standard and sloppy 12v socket.

My load looks like this:

One small inverter to power laptop and power tool batteries;
Two Amber warning lamps on top of the car;
A 12v powered "AA","AAA" charger;
A gmrs radio charging station;
A socket for a handheld CB;
And ofcourse, USB outlets. (Phone, GPS, ect)

Is there any reasonably priced and less cumbersome/bulky alternatives that people on here have used in their rigs?
I'm considering everything from the low voltage end of a wall wart connector to sound stage style audio connectors and have heard about Anderson power plugs but have never seen one in person.
