     I have just gotten an Clarion head unit and I cannot figure out how to get the factory cd player out of my '02 Lancer becides taking the dash apart.  So if somebody could please tell me an easier way to get it out I would appreciate it greatly

the dash bezel around the radio must be taken out in order to remove the factory radio. To do so, remove the heater control knobs and remove the two gold screws that are hidden behind them. With the screws removed, simply pull the bezel off, as it is connected using clips.
