I Hope you can help me.  I am looking for a four- or six-way stretch vinyl that is a dead ringer for the unusual blackish factory vinyl found in late-model (1999+) VW and Audi for my own 1999 Passat project.  I would be very grateful if you could give me the name and possible source for this material.  If there are any other materials or techniques that were useful in matching the factory atmosphere of VW/Audi, I would love to know!

thx
max

Try a company called Veteran & Co in Calif, I have a 2000 Golf that I got some OEM vinyl from them a yr ago, don't remember their contact info, but it was #245 Black it stretches great too, they deal with a lot of OEM German stuff, I have also used some vinyl from a company called Keyston (no "e") that is local to where I live (Atl, GA) but I think they are nationwide, I was just looking at some samples today because I am going to redo my hatch and they had a dead ringer on the grain pattern.

My mechanic told me, "I couldn't fix your brakes, so I made your horn louder"
