my standard chage is $20 plus parts (harnesses, mounting kits) for a head unit, $30 plus parts (wiring kit, line level adapters) for a sub or rear deck amp, $35 for a door speaker amp. Door speakers are $10-15 depending on if I have to take of the whole door or not.

everything aslo depends on who it is, obviously i'm not going to charge my best friends to do work , normally i "help" them and then we go to lunch on them or something....

its hard to set standard prices because there are somethings that can be done easily or are difficult, it really depends on the car

I charge the following rates:

Deck Installation: $25.00(not including parts)

Speaker Installation:

                        Door: $15.00

Rear $15-40(depending on whether or not I have to take out the back seat & cut the deck)

Amp Installation:  $40.00(not including parts)

Sub Installation:  $15.00 to put them into a box, hook up to the amp and tune the amp, if customer already has box.

$30-100.00 to build a box, depending on type of box, put sub(s) in box and tune the amp.

Security System:  $100.00 or more, since I hate doing car alarm installations.

Hope this helps you get an idea.
