Ok, let me start off by saying I've searched the fourm and found some post concerning this same issue but the explanations didn't really make any sense to me. Ok, I installed the alarm according to the instructions to a "T" everything works great EXCEPT the remote start feature. When I hit the remote start button the bike will crank but not start. Now, if I have the key in the on position which also preps the fuel pump the remote start with start the bike no prob. My question is how do I get the alarm to first tell the ignition switch to go to the "on" position and THEN crank the bike??? Any help would be greatly GREATLY appriciated (I'm starting to get frustrated)

Sorry for not mentioning that earlier. I have a 2002 Honda F4i. The alarm is just a little cheapy Tiwanese dealie... I will post schematics when I get home from work... thanks very much for the reply.

I would start by testing all of the wires coming off of the ignition switch with a multi-meter. Test the wires with the key off and then with the key on, that way you can see which wires need to be powered by the remote start.
