Okay. this is as noobie as questions get.

How do I find earth on a wire (handbrake door triggers etc) without endagering airbags computers canbus etc etc

Ive heard of test lights that light up "power" or "earth" but I cant seem to find them for sale in australia (I dont care if they need batteries or need to be connected to earth and +constant to work)

I know I can just connect my testlight to +constant and probe.. but the results could be disasterous!

(yes I searched and all the keywords I tryed got nothing)

Haha you said earth. Just kidding, we call it ground in cars here. If you are worried about damaging computers or airbags then you can go an buy a cheap Digital Multi Meter. These will not damage any circuits and they are good to have around.
