I'm looking for some help on how to wire a universal power ant. My old ant. has a yellow wire w/ red stripes,a orange w/blue stripes and a orange w/black slashes on it.These are at the factory plug. My new ant. has a red, black, and a blue wire....What goes where?:errr:

your black ground it to the bolt that holds tour antenna bracket to the car frame

red hook to the wire that goes 12volts when you turn the key switch on (with the radio off)

blue to the wire that goes 12volts when the radio turns on
