has anyone ever had trouble installing amps under the front seats?

i have 2 amps installed under the passenger seat of my 1989 Honda Accord. I noticed while installing them, that there is a HEATER outlet there (i guess intended to warm the rear seat area). Come winter, when heating is necessary, this vent will blow directly on my amps!

Will this be enough to overheat the amps? (the amps are only driving a pair of comp.s (front) & coax (rear), sub amp is in the trunk)
should i try to block the vent? or should i try to re-rout it?

anyone have any experience / suggestions here?
thanks!

as long as your amps and speakers are matched good the amps will not get to hot and you dont have to worry about the vents it will be ok but like i said if you have problems with them cutting on and off for thermal protection than yes you will have a problem .

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

You will not have any problems with amps under your seat. The air that moves around your amp really doesn't matter if it's warm or cool. As long as there is air circulation... the amps will be OK. The amps would have to get pretty hot before they go into protection mode and the air temperature from your heater will not add to the heat dissipation from the amp.
