 What do you think about connecting two RCA cables with an adapter ? Will I lose any sound quality . I am trying to install my system into a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it was in a Ford Pickup so one of the cables is a little short. I have an extra short cable so should I get a couple of adapters or should I break down and buy the right length cable  Thanks for any help you guys can give!

Might as well break down and buy the cable. One more connection means one more place for problems to occur.
