I installed an RS 900 crimestopper remote start on this truck.   The customer says that when they remote start the truck the alarm will sound.  All of my wire diagrams do not call for OEM alarm.  I knew it had one but I thought it was disarmed with the door locks.  Any help would be greatly appreciated

Vehicles with DRL it is RED / green.  *3 The driver door trigger is green, the front passenger door trigger is GREEN / WHITE, and the rear door trigger is YELLOW /GREEN. Use all three wires and diode isolate each.  *4 On the 4 cyl it is at the data link connector to the right of the steering column. On the V6 it is at the igniter on the passenger fender, below the air filter box.

Will this wire show ground also when unlock with key in passenger door.   And is this wire only in the passenger kick panel?

Test this connection out by GROUNDING it permanently with a jumper wire to ground. Test this first with a DMM to ensure taht it is receiving a (-) current when you unlock or disarm with OEM remote FOB. If so, then jumper with wire to ground and then try to RS the truck.

I thought that you could just ground the key-sense wire during remote dtert to defeat this.
